The people who stay.
A study-abroad file can take eight months or more. What matters to a student is that the advisor who opened it is still there when the visa decision comes. Once a year we stop the work and thank the staff who make that true — by name, in front of the whole company.
Turnover is a student's problem, not just ours
When an advisor leaves mid-application, the student pays for it — in repeated explanations, lost context and missed deadlines. Keeping good staff is the least visible part of doing this job properly, and the part that decides whether your file is handled by someone who remembers your case.

Tuition is only half of it. We price living costs, blocked amounts, insurance and the flight before you choose, not after.
What is your English level today?
Not what you plan to reach. Some routes accept you now; others need a term of preparation first — which our English department provides.

A refusal is not the end of your file. It is information.
Most applicants who are refused never learn why. The letter is short, the language is formal, and the reasons sit in a code. We read that letter properly, find what was missing, and rebuild the application before anyone reapplies.
Why applications fail
Four reasons behind most refusals we see.
None of them are about the student being unqualified. They are about how the file was presented.
The money does not hold together
Funds appear suddenly, the sponsor's income does not explain the balance, or the statement period is too short. Consular officers read bank statements as a story; ours has to make sense from the first line.
Genuine intent was never shown
The programme does not follow from previous studies, and nothing in the file explains the change. We make the academic logic explicit and evidenced.
Documents contradict each other
A name spelled two ways, dates that do not match the transcript, a translation that says something the original does not. Small inconsistencies read as unreliability.
The interview went badly
Strong applicants fail here for lack of practice — vague answers about the course, the city, or how the studies will be paid for.
How we work a refused file
Five steps, before anything is resubmitted.
Read the refusal line by line
Bring the refusal letter and the file you submitted. We identify the stated grounds and the unstated ones behind them.
Tell you honestly whether to reapply
Sometimes the answer is a different country, a different intake, or six months of preparation first. You hear that before you pay for a new application.
Rebuild the evidence
Financial history restructured and properly documented, academic progression explained, every document checked against every other document.
Rehearse the interview
One-on-one mock interviews, feedback on answer structure and etiquette, and a written playbook of the questions you are likely to face.
Resubmit and track
We submit on your behalf and follow the case until a decision is issued.
Bring us the letter.
The first review costs nothing. If we cannot improve the file, we will say so rather than take the work.
Global Languages & Testing Hub
The score is what stands between you and the offer.
Language level is the most common reason a strong Afghan student is turned away from a good programme. Our language institute exists so that it stops being the reason. We teach for the test your university actually asks for.
Inside the class
Small groups, so nobody hides at the back.
A language class only works if every student speaks in every session and every piece of writing comes back marked. That is impossible in a room of forty. We keep groups small enough that the teacher knows exactly which band each student is on, and what is holding them there.

Academic IELTS
The test most European and Commonwealth universities accept. Listening, reading, writing and speaking, taught with real past papers and marked to the official band descriptors.
TOEFL iBT
Preferred by many universities in the United States, including our partners. Computer-based practice under exam timing.
Duolingo English Test
Cheaper, faster and accepted by a growing number of institutions — often the quickest route for a student who is short on time before an intake closes.

Class times and fees.
Classes run at our Shahr-e Naw office, with evening sessions for students who work during the day. Ask us for the current timetable, fee and next start date — they change each cycle.
Travel agency
The half of GECSC that has nothing to do with studying.
Our travel section is a full agency. It books the flights and hotels for our own students, and it does the same for families, businesses and medical travellers who have never applied to a university in their lives.

Sometimes a visa is not just an approval. Behind it sit years of hope, effort and a family's prayers.
We are proud to share that Husna, Abozahra and Abosina Rahmanyar — three sisters — received their French student visas with the GECSC team handling their files from start to finish.
What makes this one special is what came before it. These same three sisters had already obtained Turkish student visas through GECSC and travelled to Türkiye to study. After that experience, the family came back to us — and this time the destination was France.

Our first large public seminar, run as a series of country sessions in one day: North Cyprus, Türkiye and the European routes, each presented by the officer who handles that desk. The room filled twice over, and the costs session went through language fees, tuition, accommodation and embassy fees line by line rather than quoting one headline number.

What students ask us first.
Is the first consultation really free?
Yes. You pay nothing until a file is opened and an agreement is signed. Bring your transcript and a realistic budget and we will tell you which countries are possible this intake.
Can you guarantee my visa?
No, and nobody honestly can. Visa decisions are made by embassies and admission decisions by universities. What we control is the quality and completeness of the file we present, which is what a decision is made on.
What do I need to bring to the first meeting?
Your last diploma and transcript, your passport or its expiry date, and a realistic figure for what your family can spend. That is enough for a useful first conversation.
My visa was refused before. Is it worth trying again?
Often yes, but only after the refusal is properly understood. Bring the refusal letter and the file you submitted. If we do not believe a reapplication will succeed, we will tell you rather than take the work.
I do not have IELTS yet. Can I still start?
Yes. Some routes accept you without it, others need a score first. Our English department prepares students for IELTS, TOEFL and the Duolingo English Test, and we plan the application timeline around the test date.
I live in Iran, Pakistan, Türkiye or Oman. Can I apply through you?
Yes. You can register online, we process the application the same way as for students in Kabul, and you attend your embassy appointment in the country where you already live.
How much does studying abroad cost in total?
It depends heavily on the country — tuition, living costs, insurance, any blocked account and the flight all vary. We put every figure on the table before a file is opened, so there are no discoveries later.
How long does the whole process take?
From first meeting to departure is usually several months, driven by university deadlines and embassy appointment availability rather than by us. We work to intake dates and tell you at the start which intake is realistic.

What we collect
Through this website: the name, phone number, email address, destination and study level you enter in the enquiry form, plus anything you choose to write in the message field. If you become a client we also collect the documents your application requires — transcripts, passport details, financial evidence — but never through this website.
Why we collect it
To answer your enquiry, advise you on your options, and prepare an application if you ask us to. Nothing more.
Who sees it
The GECSC department handling your case. Where an application requires it, the relevant university and the relevant embassy. We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to any other company for marketing.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become files are kept for one year. Client files are kept as long as the law and the institutions involved require.
Your choices
Write to info@gec.edu.af and ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will act within thirty days.

These terms cover the use of this website and the general basis on which we advise. The agreement you sign when a file is opened is the document that governs your case.
Decisions are not ours to make
Admission decisions belong to universities. Visa decisions belong to embassies and immigration authorities. GECSC prepares, checks and presents your application to the highest standard we can. We do not promise, guarantee or influence any outcome, and nobody at GECSC is authorised to tell you otherwise.
The information on this site
Requirements, costs and deadlines change without notice. Everything published here is guidance, not a quotation. The figures that apply to you are the ones we confirm in writing for your case.
Fees
Consultation is free. Service fees are set out in your agreement before any file is opened, together with what is included and what is not. Third-party costs — tuition, embassy fees, insurance, tickets — are separate and paid to those parties.
What we need from you
Documents that are genuine, complete and accurate. We do not submit an application we know to be false, and we end an engagement where a client asks us to.
